About Retro ford magazine subscription
Retro Ford
Retro Ford is a magazine published by Unity Media plc for all owners, drivers and enthusiasts of classic Ford cars. It is entirely independent of manufactures, dealers, and associated clubs or affiliations and thus its opinions are unbiased. As of September 2012, the magazine has 78 issues, covering a wide range of topics, all dealing with the great American motoring company Ford and its many fine automobiles from the past years.
Headed by Editor in chief, Ben Morley, the magazine is related to all things related to old Fords, especially those dating from the era before front wheel drive cars. The magazine covers issues about a wide range of topics ranging from refurbishment of old cars, news on meeting of owners of old Fords, track day events for yester year racing models, events concerning displaying of iconic Fords, club evenings and gatherings, to providing contacts to suppliers of spare parts, helping to get insurance of refurbished cars. The best part about the magazine is its stories on the development of old Fords which are brought back to life by enthusiastic owners.
The magazine also has special editions which have photos and extensive articles on different Fords. The current issue includes articles on Mk1 Fiesta, about how a 1960s racer destroyed then rebuilt, besides other stories. Another interesting section of the magazine is “Readers Rides” where readers are given an opportunity to send pictures of their prized collections to be published in the magazine. It provides a huge honor for the proud owner to show off his collection to one and all.
If one is a fan of old and classic Fords, Retro Ford is tailor-made for you. The magazine can be subscribed for nominal prices, and you also get a discount of 20% if you are from UK. An online edition of the magazine is also available.
