This magazine is literally my celebrity bible. Full of up to date goss, side splitting humour and glossy large pictures, there is no other celeb weekly that compares. Even the little regulat items like the funny letters page and the humourous horoscopes will keep you wanting more and more! My hidden gem of the magazine is the tv guide - where the descriptions of whats on is sometimes better than the actual programmes! This magazine will never stop making me laugh! Top read!

Yes, that's right. I'm 29 and I still read Heat. Why? Because Heat Magazine rocks: that's why. For a start off, it's weekly. Who wants to wait a whole month for their favourite mag? It's full of brilliant celebrity gossip and scandal. No, it might not be one hundred percent true - but who cares. It's spangly, star filled and outrageous. What's more: it makes me laugh - and there aren't too many magazines out there which can do that (at least not intentionally). Oh, and if you needed further proof as to how entirely awesome Heat is ... My (old enough to know better) husband also reads it. Girly mag or not, he can be regularly found with his head between its pages absorbing all things Heat. Not that he'd admit it, of course.

Heat magazine not my cup of tea at all (in fact, I think Bleat would be a more appropriate title). The way it constantly contradicts itself, where one week they'll commend a star for losing weight whilst slating an overweight celeb, then the next they'll be all for promoting a "healthy body image" whilst comdemning the anorexics, yet praise a size zero skeleton for pulling of the latest McCartney frock....you get the point. I think a lot of people come to realise that the "gossip" is just generated by the celebrity PR machine, the celebs have done absolutely nothing to make them worth reading about. Also I believe very little of the gossip in it. They make up stories when they haven't got good copy. On/off romances of the stars, who probably haven't even met each other. I read books. They open my eyes to things that really matter.

It’s a guilty pleasure and, age 40, I’ve been trying to wean myself off Heat for about 7 years, as I know I’m far too old for it, to no avail. It is the celebrity magazine that sets the standards for all of the (many) others, who despite their best efforts at shameless plagiarism and price undercutting are never as good. The articles are all celeb- based – no silly “real-life” tales with normal people here. A large amount of what’s in it is (in my personal opinion!) very possibly fabricated. The fashions depicted are ludicrous and I’ll never wear any of them. I’ve never even heard of many of the “celebs” but read about them anyway. Basically, it’s utter rubbish – very humorous, surprisingly well written rubbish. I’m addicted and not sure if there’s a cure.

Hello My fav mag is heat.I love the celeb gossip and also the fashion tips and advice. Also the editors are funny and witty which i don't think you see enough of.The only downside is that i think a few "real stories" from the public would make the mag even better Nichola Jones
