Mu Wonder what I missed out on?m and her girlfriend love this magazine. They cut out articles before I get it.

Time between applying for subscription could do with being alot faster, other than that I am very happy with it

My daughter buys me a subscription every year for my birthday, and I really look forward to seeing it in the mail each week. I like it because it is wholesome and family focused with uplifting articles and stories, beautiful knitting patterns, and great recipes to try!

The stories are lovely and varied. My mother and I both enjoy them and we will be sharing them with my aunt as well.

People’s Friend is the little tome, That packs a mighty punch, A days indulgent reading, Or a sneaky page at lunch, It reminds me of my Granny, Full of wisdom – tips and things to cook, All in all a fabuloso – simply mighty little book. I just love the range of stories - which are short enough to fit into a busy day , and I love the knitting and/or craft idea each week. not bothered about cooking though.

This magazine is passed onto me by friends. I think ity is the equal or better than most Australian magazines. I eagerly await its coming. I enjoy the stories because they are heart-warming and non-violent.

I was introduced to the "Friend" during my childhood. Both my grandmother and my mother read it. I really love the heart-warming stories and the many interesting articles each week.Throughout the years, it has kept to its wholesome features and high moral standards which is sadly lacking in many other publications. I will continue to read it for many years to come. It gives me so much pleasure.

I have read Peoples Friend as a youngster in the North of England (Co Durham) and 40 years later and living in Perth, Western Australia, I am still an avid reader of The Friend. I look forward to it each week, and it brings back lovely memories of my former home

I have been reading the freind since i was nineteen i,m now 34 and always enjoyed the light happy themes,no other book gives you that warm feeling.You know every stories is a feel good one i,ve tried recipes sent for free gifts and enjoy the gardening slots.Its then passed down to my father who is 78 and my next door neighbour who is sixty we often sqabble over who is going to read it first.

I put comfort for the review because that is what I feel about this magazine. It is wholesome and we need more of that these days. At one time everything was wholesome including on T.V> which it isnt now, so this magazine is very welcome and a nice read. It is also informative andenjoyable in every way.

I love peoples friend and have read it since my Grannie passed it on to me over 65 years ago
