To say that Wired is diverse in its content would be an understatement. Covering a broad range of topics – including technology, culture, architecture, design, business, politics, philosophy and the economy – it is a monthly publication that keeps you reading, and thinking, all month long.

A magazine for the intellectually curious, the compelling content, sharp design and stunning photography within Wired make it a feast for the senses. Learning new ideas and broadening horizons is all part of the Wired experience, so it is no surprise that the editorial team work hard to bring some of the most weird and wonderful stories from around the globe.

Wired doesn’t just cater for boys toys or girly gossip, it’s a progressive for everyone and anyone with a curiosity in life.

Emily Kayne - 23 March 2011

Hi there, my name is Emily Kayne and my favourite is Wired.I am a budding geek with a keen interest in technology and computing so this magazine is perfect for me. I love the feature articles they do, in the UK Feb issue, the story on “Your Life Torn Open” was a very smart way to get people thinking about what information they put about themselves online. In an age of ever changing technology and networking, many people are not aware of the underlying risks of putting what seems like innocent information on the internet. Once something has been uploaded onto the other wide world we call the web, it can always be found again, no matter how carefully you try and erase it.Its not all computing and technology, business and science also have a home in this wonderful publication. What actually IS in Marmite and why is it good for plants? How would you go about buying Chinese Artworks or cutting down a tree? What could a big hole in the Antarctic tell us about space? All of these questions can be answered in the varied and exciting magazine.I could go on all day about Wired, but I’m about to discover how to beat a polygraph test from the latest edition. Why you may ask? Well, hopefully you’ll never know!Emily Kayne
