Within the pages of British Homing World Magazine you will find all the information you need to get started in the sport of pigeon racing. In pigeon racing pigeons are bred and trained for racing. When the pigeons race they are released from identified locations to then race home to their lofts. If you want to get started in pigeon racing the Royal Pigeon Racing Association recommends that you join the association and a local racing club.
People who are interested in racing pigeons can either keep a loft of pigeons themselves or they can race in one loft races. One loft races are available to pigeon racers who pay to have a loft manager house their racing birds. In a one loft race all the birds will be from the same loft. The birds have all been raised together, trained and released together.
