Grow Your Own

Excellent magazine

Grow Your Own

I'd like more in depth articles. There's a lot of interesting information but too many 'three paragraph' entries on eg. planting a certain seed. Add more info on preventing pests; climate, soil type; good companion planting ideas; pitfalls; recipes? If you like this, try XYZ?

Review of Grow Your Own magazine

Hi, I've been subscribed to Grow You Own magazine for over a year now. It's a really good read with tips on growing my own fruit and veg, how and when to prune, occasional freebies including seeds, readers letters and tips, monthly readers offers for fruit and veg plants, chicken keeping and loads of other hints and ideas for planting out. It's a really useful magazine and I have kept every issue for later reference.

Fantastic

Lots of detail and plenty of ideas. Numerous competitions and free giveaways. They give away free seeds and then have articles on growing them. Well worth buying.

Gardening magazine with a difference

Having recently started to grow vegetables, the only help I could really find was in the other garden magazines which dealt mainly with flowers and shrubs. They did have the odd bit of veggie growing info, but it was severly limited. So this new magazine dedicated solely to growing vegetbales is a must have for anyone who needs to expand their knowledge of how to get the best from your garden. Not only do they teach you how to 'grow your own', but it also offers recipes on how to use them? A magazine that has found a huge opening in the market, and offers an excellent way to fill it...Highly recommended
