Middle plane is an art and fashion magazine that explores the art of one particular artist in each issue through the use of fashion and trends. Each issue is pitched as a conversation between fashion and art. The collection of photographs and editorials create a sort of photo essay that encapsulates the artist that is the subject of the issue. Whilst fashion is certainly an art in itself, Middle Plane is able to juxtapose and match the fashion to the art in a way that gives new depth and ways of thinking about the art inside. This interesting and different magazine is a great coffee table book, and great for collecting.
