212 is printed twice a year, and comes from Istanbul, it understands local culture but extends its gaze to way beyond its own region. The content concentrates on art, culture and societies far reaching that which is present within Istanbul. The magazine features several long-form articles complimented by some short fiction writing. There are also some incredible photo essays that often last several pages. 212 magazine is best described as a playground for photographers, artists and writers. Contributors are all freely allowed to express their feelings on any given subject. The aim of the magazine is to collide the worlds of photography, art, and culture, creating a magazine that effectively merges the past with the present.
